I am a proud mother of two cute girl children and I am really proud to say this. But what disturbs me is the look on the face of others when I say that I have two girls. Is it necessary that we have atleast one boy and for what reason?

People are so funny this way. My sister has two boys and another boy on the way. She was kind of hoping that she would have a girl, but is perfectly happy to have three little boys. When people found out that she was having another boy they would say things like, "Oh, I'm sorry" or "I guess you'll have to have another to try for a girl". What!! You're sorry that she's having a little boy? It doesn't make sense to me. We should be thankful for what God blesses us with.

I have a daughter and a son, but I don't really mind if i had either 2 boys or 2 girls.Don't be bothered by what other people say. Whether you have 2 boys or 2 girls, it doesn't really matter. Boys are no better than girls, and girls are no better than boys. What is important is how well, we , as parents, are able to take care of them, provide for their needs, give them love and affection, and be here when they need us. I don't see the point of having to have a girl or a boy.

i don't agree that having a boy is necessary. it's just that in some cultures, the father prefers to have someone carry his name, but in my opinion, that's very chauvinistic.

Forget what other people say. They are blessings from God. You are still lucky that you have two beautiful kids.

Having a child is a blessing whether its a boy or a girl. I am a proud mom to a baby girl, and I would still be the same proud mom if I had a baby boy. People are entitled to their opinion but it shouldn't affect you in any way.

I only have a little girl for now and I'm very proud to say I have a baby girl. If people look at me funny because I don't have a little boy, I say that god just didn't want me to have a little boy yet and when he does he will send me one.

No you don't have to have a boy, some people can only have girls..If you are happy it shouldn't matter what other people think or their expressions on their faces...It is your choice and your children are the loves of your life..
