Drunk drivers?

Do you think that they should loose their licenses on the first offense and be required to go to jail for a certain period of time, along with community service? Or do you think that would be too harsh? Personally I feeli like if someone is going to drink and drive they do not need to even have a car because drunk drivers kill other people and sometimes even themselves. My husband has had several relatives killed by drunk drivers. I think that the laws should be more heavily enforced for drunk drivers does that sound too harsh?
