Can Friends be with u for the Whole life

I have a huge friend's circle, they are with me for years now. But would they remain with me for the whole life. Can i be with them, when they need me. or would they be me when i need them. So far, i have been lucky to have my friends everytime, i needed them. But in future would they stay with me. Should i do something special for them.
