Do you constantly work late?Do you put long hours of overtime and drag through your home each night exhausted? When you go out for dinner, are your thoughts on the office rather than on the conversation?Did any of you experiencing these situation now?How would you put your spouse above your work?

Yes I have come home dog tired, but I believe you need to make your money while you're young. By time you reach my age (56) you're washed up in the work force. If you've got a good relatioship/marriage you're secure and don't need to worry about putting your spouse first. A good marriage automatically allows for some family time. Work together the end result will benifit you !!! Take Care Grandmaof2

Thanks for your wonderful response but i believe that there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.Your career may serve as more than just a means of earning income. If so,thats wonderful for you.But when your job takes precedence over your family,it is time to reexamine your priorities. Both husbands and wives should view marriage as their first career.

There is no possible reason to put your work before your mate. The reason they are your spouse is because you want to have a special type of relationship with that person. SO.. to put them aside and only give them time, when you have some to spare, that does not show a loving alliance or a fufillment of a loving commitment.
