ambitious woman...too bad?

I am an ambitious woman.I want to do things better than others even if on the aspect of my shortcomings.I will try my best to do everything best.I do want to be a superwoman.I am VERY competitive.my sister said to me yesterday:"U Shouldn't be so ambitious,U are a woman!If u keep on being so ambitious,U won't get on well with ur colleagues later!" So it is so bad for a woman with ambition?Should I change my mind?
