She has had some pretty crazy ideas on how i should bring up my child, and what i should and shouldnt do in my life. She also likes to ask questions and states RIGHT after she asks that its none of her business, but she's just asking. WHY are you asking if you think its none of your business?! lol. i just dont answer when she does that. Do you have similar issues with your inlaws? When seh came to visit us, she cleaned my house while i was at work and she also RE-Arranged my bedroom. I was so mad, but i kept it to myself and just switched it back when she left. HOLY CRAZY LADY!

Yes, my boyfriend's Mother is pretty loony. She constantly feels like everyone is persecuting her and talking about her behind her back. She is a terrible gossip and drives my boyfriend's sister-in-law nuts with her meddling with the kids. Luckily, she lives 2 provinces away from us, so I only have to worry when she comes up for her annual week-long stay. She was pretty good the last time though, I have to give her credit. She cleaned my house, but man, it needed it!

Lol! Mine can't call here because my boyfriend won't give her our telephone number! Can you believe that? He calls her a couple of times a week, but he knows she would call multiple times everyday if she could. His brother has the number in case of emergency, but is sworn to secrecy not to give it to her.

I never had a problem with a mother in law but I did with my crazy sister in law......She was always telling how I should raise the kids {she never raised any kids cause she couldn't have them} One day I had enough and when she started in on me I let her have it with both barrels and told her what a nosy old witch she was and until she raised three kids to keep her mouth shut....And if she didn't like what I said she could go home and stay there..And we would stay home without her cause she didn't bother me one way or the other..

She lives in Flordia and I live in Nevada...I saw her for the frist time since 1975, this summer but only went with my daughter because daughter asked me too...Had to talk about exhusband with her even though it made me uncomfortable.......She knows I still don't like her....I guess that I'm the out law in the family now......Another reason I went was my daughter said we could eat at Steak N Shake if I went......So I behaved myself......LOL

My mother-in-law is crazier than yours. Haha. No, seriously, my mother-in-law really is clinically crazy (schizophrenic, paranoid, etc) but when she is on her meds she isn't usually too bad. She's only been to my house once since I got married and she cleaned a lot while she was here, too. It's kind of funny because she has a housecleaner that does it at home, but here she was cleaning everything like crazy. She was here last March and I still don't know where everything is that she put away! She does always offer a lot of unasked for advice on how to raise my son. She's constantly telling me that he needs to eat less because she says he is eating everytime we talk on the phone. But my son is not fat at all. He's 31 inches tall and 23.5 lbs. It drives me crazy. I stay home with my son every day during the week and only work on Saturdays. My husband has been working 7-4 since August and she still calls and wants to talk to him in the middle of the afternoon at least once a week. And she always asks why I'm not at work. Even though she knows I only work Saturdays. Oh, and they bought my son some clothes for his birthday while we were home last month. They bought him size 4T!! He is so thin that he has trouble keeping his 12 month old clothes up! So, yeah, you are definitely not alone in thinking your mother in law is crazy. And hey, keep in mind, this stuff all happens when my mil is on her meds, I won't even go into the stuff she says and does when she isn't!

Lol! i'm sorry to hear that. although schizophrenia is in that side of the family i do not think she had it, at least she has not been diagnosed. i shouldn't joke because its a serious illness, but i think she's just gettin older and stuff. She calls me and tells me things she's already told me. sometimes she'll tell me stuff 3 or more times and not remember telling me. i just let her talk. and then she'll tell me to tell my hubby something and i at first would tell him, but have now stopped, because then she will tell him 3 or more times son top of me telling him. oh my goodness. the fun never ends!
