benefits of the british army

My name is Bernadette Reid, i'm from Jamaica in the Caribbean. I applied to an university in London, namely the University of East London, and i am a bit strap for cash. The programme i enrolled to do is a course in marketing. I would really like the opportunity to study in London. I heard from numerous sources that the British military offers free education. Is this true? If it is what do i need to do? How will my visa application go? What are the different segments in the army? Is there a place for marketing? Do i have to be a citizen to serve in the military? While i attended school in Jamaica i was in the cadet corps. I was corporal and drum major. I know these are not the same so i would like to know the type of training one must undergo and if it is possible for me, assuming that i meet the requirements of the army, to be stationed in the office only.
