Film Noir

Have you people seen any films which have 'film noir'. My best example of this is from the movie Bladerunner which I just watched and it stars Harison Ford as the lead character; Deckard who plays the part of the blade runner. This film is quite depressing because it has a lot of dark scenes and it is raining perpetually throughout the movie. Also, the people on the streets in the film appear to be sad and they just go about their own business. So, seen any films similar to this one? What do you think of the body language of the people?

i think some japanese films are similar to this one..but i can't remember the name of the film..it is quite famous even in the west..i think i will phone upa film buff friend of mine in u.k to remind me coswe watched it together..their samurai movies..the old black and white ones were really dark and heavy..
