Yes, coaches are the strategist of the team. They are smart and intelligent people who understand the concept of man in a battle against other greats!

Pat Riley

But i think the coach is needed when the star player is can't play or got injured if not the team in under situation. The coach is more concern on to improve the player skill, club condition, renew a contract, scouting new rookie and player.
