Why do some women hide their legs?

There are women who hide their legs not due to modesty but due to vericose veins. Women sho are obese, age group 50 to 60, and those who stand while working for long hours are prone to vericose veins. This could be one of the reasons for older women covering their legs. What do you think could be the reason?

may be because they are having vericose problem or spotted, ugly looking legs, or too fat legs, or unwaxed ones!!

They shy with all the hairs on their legs. I think. My officemate also cover their legs after shave. Hmm for me I dont have to hide my legs. I am muslim and always wear hijab and wear long sleeves and long pants. :)
