Why won't anyone answer my discussions? :( Are they so boring or stupid that noone even wants to take the time to answer them? Please help!

When I first started, I wasn't getting many bites either. But now I've got a few more friends and they help out getting me started. I am going through all of my friends now to see if they have any 0 response discussions and I'm answering them. So hang in there, I'm sure other friends of yours will help out too.

I've noticed that the people who get the most responses are the ones who have the most friends. So start looking for more people you wanna be friends with. There is one person on here who gets 150-200+ on every discusison, but they have 800+ friends! I am picky and don't want that many friends, but the more you have definatly helps!

For mylot.com from what I've notice it all has to do with your main headline and whether or not it sounds like something people feel like discussing. You also must keep in mind this is a universal site so maybe the time you are on is the least busy time on mylot. I like starting discussions, but I definatly prefer to answer them more :)

Well, Im still sort of new to this site, but personally I answer questions I have something to say to. perhaps instead of making more posts, you should browse and chat with others? This could let you meet new people and gain some friends. These friends may comment on your new posts when you make some. It's a nice perk of the friend system here. I'm going through posts with no responses, looking for small posts that have been missed. ^.^ Don't lose hope, though. Just keep commenting on other posts and help yourself get known!

Awwww, I know how you feel! Don't feel bad, I think it's just trial and error. My problem is I never know what topic to put my questions under to get the most responses. I wish you could post a question under multiple headings. I try to start discussions based on topics that I am actually interested in and want to discuss too, I'm not just coming up with stupid one lineers to make my numbers look better, either. It will get better. I guess we just need to make more friends on here, like someone else suggested. I'll answer your discussions if you'll answer mine! :P
