What do your kids do on snow days. When I was a kid as soon as we knew there was no school we bundled up and out the door we went. We started walking the neighborhood looking for people who needed sidewalks and driveways shoveled. No one had snow blowers then. We were just hoping to make a dollar. (Now you know I am old..lol). After that we were having snowball fights, building forts, sledding, looking for ice to slide on and anything else else we could think of. We never sat in front of the tv and there were no computers. We wanted to have some real outdoor fun. When we came in everything was wet so we hung our coats over the registers so they would dry and we could go out again. Those were the good ole' days!

I can definately relate to your discussion! That's what we did, too. Mom would make us hot tea or cocoa to warm us up. We also used to ice skate up and down our road.
