Why do some babies throw up after nursing? It has been over five months and she still cannot manage to keep it all down.

Hello Cherubsn, Another reason for the "spitting up" or vomiting is if the baby is being fed too much formula.

It's just a natural way for the child to release what could become quite painful air trapped in the stomach. As a child gets older they learn not to take in so much air as they nurse. But! You still have years of being thrown up on ahead! It just gets bigger and better. lol
