What makes Indians flourish despite obstacles?

Obstacles like corruption, brain-drain, poverty, and population crisis?India is a fairground for contradictions. That is what makes us unique, gives us our personality and shapes our character as a whole. The world around us is amazed at our tolerance levels, our maturity in dealing with a zillion hurdles and our astounding growth. If only, we could bottle this unique “Indian” factor. This is the question asked in Yahoo so thought of putting it here also as I really wanted to know.

I think the fact that you have to struggle hard to do well in life means that you do better. If you suceed against all the odds you have a more postive outlook and this makes you do even better. It is great to see your country doing so well these days despite all its problems.
