Overrated Celebrities- what are your top 5?

Sometimes I just don't understand why people are famous. Here's a list of my 5 top overrated celebrities:
1. Paris Hilton
2. Nichole Ritchie
3. Keanu Reeves
4. Brooke Hogan (Hulk Hogan's daughter)
and finally, I know I'm going to get flamed for this but
5. Oprah Winfrey - I mean, why the cult status here?

Oh my, there are so many who are just horrible! If I have to narrow it down...
#1 with a bullet - Carmen Electra. She's everywhere lately, too.
- Jessica Simpson
- Rosie O'Donnell
- Rachael Ray
- Eva Longoria
And though Jackass is a worthless enterprise, I have to admit that I have a slight crush on Johnny Knoxville :)

Oh, it's so nice to see other people who don't like Rachel Ray. Honestly, I am just so sick of seeing her everywhere. I'm hoping that she will start to be less noticable with time. Emril used to drive me insane, but it seems like he is around a lot less now. I hope that will happen with Rachel Ray.

ARGH Rachel Ray! I really dislike Rachel Ray. What's the point of using an abbreviation EVOO if you then say "extra virgin olive oil?"

I like your thoughts. Celebrities do get special treatment, much of the time just for being "there". There are many no talent, ego boosted, fan driven, icons that shouldn't be role models no matter who they are. Here are my top five.
1. Brittney Spears
2. Paris Hilton
3. Donald Trump-yeah he has money...big deal.
4. Rosie O'Donnell
5. Johnny Knoxville (actually the whole Jackass bunch)
Yeah, I'll probably get negative ratings for these, but it is my own opinion.

That's true about Johnny Knoxville. Wasn't he also dating some famous person recently, too?
I didn't add Brittany to mine because she *actually* had a couple of top selling albums. But in terms of celebrities with the most precipitous drop, I totally agree. It's sad really. :)
Oh, and I gave you a "+" for answering on topic. Even though I LOVE Justin Timberlake, I'm not beyond criticising him either.

Thanks. At least Timberlake has and is using his talent to it's potential, both in the music industry and acting. I can't wait to see his film, "Alpha Dog". Yes, Brittney at one point had a career worthy of her, but she has squandered her talent, and I don't think she will ever achieve the status she could have had, had she stayed the course.

Wow, what a fun discussion. I actually agree with a lot of people on here, so I will just try to make a list with some new people that we can talk about. These are in no particular order:
1) Ryan Seacrest
2) Tara Reid (not much talent there)
3) Emril (his recipes just don't seem that good, so he's basically famous for saying "BAM!")
4) Martin Lawrence (I'm sure someone will disagree with me on this one, but that man has NEVER made me laugh)
5) oh, and about 90% of the people on American Idol
People from other lists on here that I totally agree with:

I had no idea that Ryan Seacrest talks about himself in the 3rd person. What an awesomely awful habit!
I'm no real fan of Seacrest either. He just seems so... so... fake.

Mischa Barton does sort of seem like a space case now that she's older. She was good in that movie when she was real little in the 6th Sense and Lawn Dogs.
