I have various patterns for jumpers designed and I'm looking for a computer package that i can transfer the designs onto, and it will work out stitches etc on a grid. Maybe this p.c. package dosen't exist yet! But I would appreciate any ideas

Now I am not sure if this is what you mean, but what about his site? http://www.software4knitting.com/softwareproducts.htm Now I am going back to check it out further. I know I get frustrated looking for *JUST* the right pattern, so this could be good for me too. Good Luck!

I just was there and downloaded a demo... Thank you, it's a great tool! I'm thinking seriously about a purchase!

The same problem here. One of my relatives is a computer guru, I asked him the same question once and even he couldn't give me proper answer (but of course he's a man, and his name isn't Kaffe Fassett!) I guess, there should be a way to make such things easier! Thank you for starting the discussion, perhaps someone with better computing skills will see it and help us.

Maybe I should sell my idea to Rowan or someone, they'd be so grateful I'd recieve free wool for life ...!:)

that would be something cool to have on the computer but i have never heard of anything like that do they even make something like that? how do you design knitted jumpers anyways? you mean like the jumpers that you wear kind of like overall skirts? i love those i will have to try to knit one for myself i knitted a sweater for myself and that turned out really well and i think a jumper would be easier to make than a sweater because of the sleeves
