Dealing with college employees

I recently graduated with my associte degree from a local college, now I am trying to go back there for a term but when it comes to getting ahold of them I keep hittig a wall, they don't answer there email and they are never available! I am also applying to a university where I will start in the fall. I emailed them 2 hours ago and I have recived a reply allready. The other collage I emailed 5 days ago and nothing.
Has anyone had a experance like this?

i have found that colleges usually answer when it is most convienant for them. this makes no sense to me since you have to pay so much to go to school

It's really funny that they don't care more about there students since we give them a job and money for there paycheck. I do agree I think they answer when they feel like it. community colleges are the worst I think.
Just a note the collage I am applying to for fall term has sent me 3 emails today to help me out. the one I have gone to for 2 years and am trying to take classes from again. zero.
