Please vent here lol, but seriously. I bought a ring off of ebay, paid for it and never recieved it. I contacted the company, emailed several emails to the sellers and left a very negative comment. Still no ring or no satisfaction from the company either. Once burnt, twice shy as the old saying goes...

Out out about 40 buys I've made off ebay only 1 has given me trouble. I'm sorry you had to lose money but i guess it happens. I bought a game. It didn't work. So I emailed the guy who sold it to me many times. I waited a couple of days before I left my negative comment and then the guy acted like I had never tried to contact him. It pissed me off big time but now I'm more careful with who I buy from.

Yes, Yes, Yes...I was a ebay user for many years and I eventually opened my own store and wanted to upload my items form my store to my ebay store, I decided to go with it when it was a 10 cent listing day. I used turbo lister to handle this becuase it allows you to upload multiple items at once. I did so... When I got my final billing for the month, all my items were charged regular listing fees.(OCH) I listed over 900 items and the total owing was close to 800.00. When I notified ebay they simply said I listed all my items on the U.S site instead of Canada Site, which was wrong, turbo lister ask you what will be your default uploader Canada or the U.S mine was set for Canada. This were there mistake but the continuly blame me. I closed my account and I was going to forget about it until the creditors contacted me. With a past feedback of over 900 I recently had to start up another one with a new feedback of 9....(Yep all the hard work went down the drain) I love Ebay but I advise everyone to STAY AWAY FROM TURBO LISTER!

Great advice, thanx. While I don't intend to sell much now (we have sold a few things and would like to drop ship or something similar in the future), right now I have no time (I work 2 p/t jobs - a receptionist and a freelance author) but will file the info away for further use. Again, thanx! Smiles (my story was i bought a ring, never recieved it,complained and complained, never heard boo from the company and they are still there today, ripping people off!)

Well great news...When ever you decide to dropship, I have to store that offer dropshipping and also have a link where you can start your own dropshipping services...If you were interested in dropshipping fragrance go to www.divinediva.ca and for electronics go to www.electrodepot.ca These are my stores....If you want more information about starting up your own dropshipping services send me a email and i will send you more information. You can also look at my previous post and I have a link in one them that gives you the link to start. This is a excellent way to sell things on auction or your own store...Easy money and less work and free to use my service.(there is a monthly fee for starting your own service) Both of my stores are doing really well with several people dropshiping from me. Good luck

I am sorry this happened to you. For the most part sellers on eBay are trustworthy, but there are those who are just out to scam you. It is the same with buyers, most are good, some are not. eBay does have a process for filing an item not received claim. It is pretty simple. You open the claim, they contact the seller, the seller and you come to an agreement or the seller is reported to trust and Safety department. If you paid with PayPal you can go through Paypal to get a refund even if the seller refuses to communicate with you. But as you say, once burnt twice shy, and lesson learned. It does take some due dilligence to buy on eBay. I always check a sellers feedback rating and even read the feedback they received and left for others. IF I don't like their attitude then I don't buy from them. I do sell on ebay and I try to make sure my customers and perspective customers feel safe doing business with me. I have my About me page set up, my My World page set up, I have policies clearly stated in every auction, but most of all I communicate. That is where I think many seller and buyers go wrong. I wish you luck.

I bought a hair straightener off ebay that I never received, but it only took a email and a refund form to get my money returned to me from Paypal. I would never buy on ebay without using Paypal.

No i haven't. Although i know people who have and for this reason i won't buy things from the site as they don't help you and just refer you to your local police station who can't really do anything to someone from another country. Personally i think ebay should cover hustlers and repay those who lose. (only those with prove) as they make alot of earnings from adverts alone ~Joey Kudos.
