I'm thinking about getting a new car,ANY suggestions?

I have a very old Toyota, it has 225,000 miles. I don't thimk it will last much longer.Although Toyota's have been good to me, they are hard to work on and expensive to have fixed.Please let me know if you have any good experiences with other makes of cars.
