Super Paper Mario Release Date Announced

Recently been announced that Super Paper Mario will be out for Nintendo Wii on April 9th 2007 (USA)
Do you recon that's too long to wait for a Mario adventure game on the wii - almost 6 months?
And does anyone know if I'll be able to play this on my European Wii - is there a Freeloader avalible yet?
