Disimilarity between the time of updating the earnings of images and discussions

i found this dissimilarity !
after how many houres the earnings of the images updated? and what about the discussions?
whats the time difference between them?

As I've noticed earnings are being updated every 24 hours. Say for example, your earnings for today are for your activities yesterday. And about uploaded images, I believe you earn $.01 cent from it after somebody replies to your posting if you started the discussion.
You can go to the earning section to monitor your daily earnings. Goodluck!
