Do you think it's right for a child to keep a grandchild from it's grandparents The child was really sick while small althought now it is 3 going on 4 and has been to her grandparents house maybe three times this year.they say it because the grands don't come to thier house why kind of reason is that what do you think is it right or wrong...

They have a point. If the grandparents really wanted to see the child, they would make the effort to go see her. I make a point of taking my grandkids out shopping (which they love and their parents hate because I buy them stuff!) or to dinner or a movie at least once a month. And I have one of them over for the weekend almost every week, feeding them things their parents don't.

Maybe there is some reason that the grandparents can only make it there a few times a year.

That is definitely wrong. A child should be involved with the grandparent and get the benefit of getting to know them. Just because the grandparent doesn't come to their house a few times a year doesn't mean that the parents should with hold the child from seeing the grandparent. The relationship between a grandchild and their grandparent is very special and should be allowed to blossom. If need be the parents should take the grandchild over to the grandparents house.
