Annoying Laughs

Today I was sitting at lunch and this girl of about 20 or 22 would not stop cackling obnoxiously loud!! It was so nerve racking I almost got up and left before I was finished eating. Sitting with 3 other people she would laugh about every 10 seconds for about 45 minutes. Does it bother anyone else when a woman laughs that HA HA HA HA HA HEH HEH HE HEH HE HE HE laugh that isn't even a real laugh and won't stop even when you look at her with that "okay, enough lady, we know your here!" look?

next time asked to be moved because the person at the other table is being rude and that you cant hear each other talk and I would say it loud enough for the person to hear you and maybe they will get the hint.

Oh my gosh, that's so funny...HAHAHAHAHEHEHEHE...just kidding. I know what you mean. I knew a girl in high school that was so loud when she laughed. You could hear her down the hall. Now she is married to a good friend of mine but she doesn't laugh as much and as annoying as she used to...I guess she grew out of it.

Or...maybe your friend would simply pop her in the back of the head every time she laughed and say...hey...do you mind? I know thats what I would do. HAHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHOHOHOHOHOHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

i know it's pretty annoying when people do this and i get really agro when in public - esp on a bus or somewhere you're thrust in close together. i really hate it when they have a conversation or chat on their mobile at the top of their voice as though the rest of us are interested in what they are saying. some people seem to love announcing to the world 'look at me, here i am'

Those laughs which are like sarcastic can sometimes be annoying, but I don't bother them, I just look at them as very jolly people. But most of the times I find them to be more trying hard for others to notice them, much awkward for everyone to look at them by the way they laugh.

It's amazing that there are so many people who think the world revolves around them and don't care about others. I really hate those fake laughs. You see that on TV a lot on the late night talk shows. I think overall, the lack of manners in a public setting is at a all-time low. Lloyd

I don't like the fake laughter either, or that uncomfortable laughter and don't know why people feel the need to do it. I would have probably gotten up and moved away from her, to someplace I wouldn't have to listen to it. On the other hand I do enjoy the genuine belly laugh, that I find to be contagious. Sorry you had to listen to that during your lunch break.

Yeah I like to hear the genuine laughs too, especially from a small kid that is really enjoying themselves. It makes me laugh too. I was in a small town down the highway from where I live and the resturant only has about 20 tables so everyone had to listen to her. My buddy and I were looking at other people around us with that look of understood annoyance. We were all kinda laughing about it so maybe in a weird way even that kind of laugh is contagious.

Ever thought of going there and explaining in a decent manner that she was disturbing you?I've seen the other post and i'm like : you could GO and ASK them to stop you know? it ain't that difficult beleive me.If that doesn't work try complaining to the manager or somebody from there.
