ORKUT is banned --totally Craped up

Hi everyone it is my final year of graduation and my college has banned orkut, chat and a few other sites. i am well aware of the misuse of such sites but these sites serve as the only means of being in contact with my seniors who r already placed. I talked my my colleges n/w administrator but he is seeing only the darker side of it. Jerks they do not want to optimistic.
