ORKUT is Banned ---what a Crap

Hi everyone I am a final year student of graduation and in my college orkut, chat and many others are banned. I am well aware of the fact the these sites can be misused by some people but it serves as the only means for me to be in contact with my seniors that are already placed. I tried to talk to my colleges network administrator but he is looking only in the darker side of the coin. they are not optimistic at all. jerks
