Anyone has a shiba inu?

I'm willing to get a shiba inu cub (2 months old) but I have no experience with dogs except a cat of 2,5 years old. I'm working during the day and I would leave the two of them home alone. Do you think the dog would suffer a lot waiting for me to come home in the night? Wouldn't the cat keep him company too during the day?
