Confused about mylot's earnings..Can any one help??

I am a newbie to this discussion board, and not able to figure out what is the criteria behind earnings here..You earn with every post or with a pre-calculated no. of post .
Don't you all think mylot should have an open policy to solve the problems of earnings , which should be justified..

1. You can put any number of discussion topics and earn money for it. No limit.
2. You can put any number of responses, there is no limit and you can earn for it.
3. You can bring in any nu. of referrals and there is money for it.
4. When you reach 500 posts, you can upload pictures and you get money for it.
