I preffer for now XP, because not all software is writen for vista, but for XP. Also it has too big requirements. My PC os not so good.I don't want to spare 10-15 GB just for a OS. Another thing is that it still has many bugs and i think it's prone to hacker atacks. Also i don't want to buy it because it is very expensive. Some will tell me to buy the home premium, but i don't want to buy a halv OS. I want it with it's full functions and everithing. Somewhere i read that it doesn't support all hardware. Thats another reasno to preffer XP. I also play games and i think they will not behave well on vista. I preffer to wait some time when service packs are repleased to handle with the problems. Also will wait untill i upgrade my computer, or buy a new one.

Windows Vista is very good i would say..In that you didn't require antivirus at all Coz it's antivirus is well enough to secure your pc..and some others features are also good..So try it ..It is better than Xp I would say

Like all operating system when they first come out, Vista has got lots of mixed press coverage. Some say it is not substaintially different to XP, others report major bugs, but every one said similar things about XP until it had time to settle in. The real question we should be asking is why do we need to change to a different operting system given that XP is not all that old, it's just another way of trapping consumers into paying out more money

Woow WIndows Vista.. what a hot subject i can say. I have talked a lot in my area with many of my friends and all of them had only positive thoughts about it. I can say that i was blow off by this new windows system. Some things certainly lack to it but this new look which Microsoft has incorporated in it certainly do the money you would give for it. I have waited this new system for 2 weeks and here i am using it. It was pretty hard for me to buy it because in my area it can't be found. So i had to ask a friend from another part of my country to order me. I am so happy using it and all i have are only words of gratitdue. I post here a short description about VISTA. Windows Vista contains hundreds of new features; some of the most significant include an updated graphical user interface (GUI) and visual style dubbed Windows Aero, improved searching features, new multimedia creation tools such as Windows DVD Maker, and completely redesigned networking, audio, print, and display sub-systems. Vista also aims to increase the level of communication between machines on a home network using peer-to-peer technology, making it easier to share files and digital media between computers and devices. For developers, Vista includes version 3.0 of the .NET Framework out of the box. The .Net Framework makes it significantly easier for developers to write high-quality applications than with the traditional Windows API.

Well Vista is better in performance than XP. But vista is more complex than xp, moreover people didn't find it user friendly. But same goes for xp, when it came out people didn't find it easy but they adapted the situation. I think same will be happening with vista, after sometime people wilol be settled with it.

Windows Vista is a Very Good Operating system. but the thing is that the system requriment is too high. Every pc do not have Dual Core Processor. nor the 512 DDR RAM. So this Operating system will not have the succes as the Windows 98 And Windows XP. But the OS is best at present.
