hostage taking

is it appropriate to abduct someone because you need money? i believe it is tiotally absurd. if you need money just work hard for it anyhow you can or you go asking for it from anyone you can. other than causing pain, mayhem or chaos.

I think hostage takers who are after money are really desperate. It could be their last-ditch effort to come up with some money. Since they're at the end of their wits, they could be dangerous. They know that it's the only way out. I agree when you said that it's best to earn properly instead of inflicting harm. I hope many would realize that.
