What about your feet? Barefeet or Comfy socks around the house?

If it's the summer I'm always barefoot, outside and in (unless I'm going to a store or something of course.) But right now, when it's the winter, I'm all about my super fuzzy thick socks! And I totally understand where you're coming from about stepping on kid's toys! My son has toys all over the place that I'm constantly stepping on and tripping over so having socks helps in that area as well!

I prefer barefeet, but being diabetic, I have to wear socks with the rubber bottoms. Too confining for me! :-(

I prefer going bare foot around the house.

I either have socks or a pair of comfy slippers. I have some that feel like you are walking on air. They are great.

In the summer I usually just walk around without socks on but I always wear them in the winter. You lose alot of heat through your feet so I wear them to help stay warmer even when I'm inside.

during the winter I wear thicker socks around the house all the time, but in the summer I dont wear them quite so often

The thickest cosiest socks I can find in winter, and slippers!!! Tend to have bare feet in summer though, although definitely know where you're coming from with the toys ... but for some reason I never learn!!!

I am sooooo a barefoot kinda person ... even been kicked out of a few stores when I was younger for going in barefoot .. LOL Now a days I still usually am barefoot at home, I do have some slippers/house-shoes I will put on if its really cold, but I am on the third floor in apartments with mostly carpet so my floors don't get cold fast at all. Having three small boys (8, 5, and 3!) I have toys and such ALL OVER most the time... I don't find socks to help much with stepping on them darn little pieces, though slippers do! I do wear shoes now when I go outside, thats mostly due to having a bad ankle now though .. LOL

lol, I hate socks! I really do, I hate everything about them (especially the fact that the dryer always seems to eat just one!) but in the winter time, I usually wear them as the floors are too cold to go without them . In the summer time, I never wear them, I'm barefoot unless I have to go to the store, but then it's sandals (still with no socks). And when I step on my kids toys with no socks on, then I usually groan and complain about the fact that I didn't have them on, lol

Neither. I know it's not a choice but I have to wear slippers.

I only use socks in winter, just because it's wooden floor and so it gets colder in winter sometimes. But other times I will just walk barefeet at home

This is too funny, as I was opening this notification I was looking at the pair of socks I pulled out of my drawer and thinking I really should put those on, it's been over an hour since I got them out. Around the house I'm a barefoot kinda girl, year round. I do have a pair of slippers I slip into occasionally if the floors (hardwood) are extremely cold but for the most part I don't bother. I only got the socks out because my feet were cold but I really don't want to put them on.

I prefer socks on my feet in the winter. In the summer, I just use my sandals without socks.

I used to go around bare footed but now I wear slippers because when I wore socks, I feel down the stairs and fractured my tail bone! still hurts. So now I wear slippers because if there is something on the floor my feet will find it ouch!

When i am walking around the house, i have to wear socks. I can't stand it for my feet to get cold. And that's usually what happens when i'm running around the house. When i go to bed, i have to take my socks off. I can't stand wearing socks to bed. It makes me too hot at night.

I ALWAYS have to have my house shoes, or slippers actually, on while I am in the house. As soon as I get in from being out of the house I take off my shoes and put my slippers on. I keep my socks on in the winter but keep the slippers on as well. They just make me feel more cozy and warm. In the summer as well, I keep my slippers on but with my socks off. I can't stand the feeling of walking around barefoot. It feels dirty to me, even though my house is spotless most of the time, but I guess it's just me. Just feel cleaner and cozier that way.

I wear slippers in the winter cause my feet are always COLD! I have really cozy ones that I got at a thrift store last year (they are like Birkenstocks) with heavy wool on the top. They keep my feet warm. In the summer, it is barefoot for me!
