what makes you read a post? what makes you answer it? what brings you in?

For me it's how recent it is. I don't like posts that are a few weeks old. I wish they would be deleted actually so that this is kept current. I also don't like answering posts that are really dumb and in which the person obviously just asked to ask any sort of dumb question but that they don't really care about the answer. Such as "Whats your favourite colour?" I like posts that need more than a one line response.

ok cool just wanting to know, i'm new to all this! you have a red number nine star what does that mean? i'm really just looking for ways to meet new people... and i think your right maybe after a while old posts should be deleted...

Whatever grabs my interest is what I am attracted to. Also the more shocking the subject title is, the more bound I am to answering that discussion.
