It happened long ago. My friend invited me to their farm. We had to hike some five or six kilometers of a mountain dirt road. It was fun considering how polite were all the people we brushed with along the way. Fruits abound in the farm, we ate some and brought home some, too. It was really great to spending some time like that. Now, I have my own fruit farm.

We were living in Colorado Springs and went hiking in Cheyenne mountian. While it was actually a nice dirt road we were going to walk on since we were taking all 4 kids and the baby was only 6 months old and had to be carried. While my brilliant husband and his wacky friend decided we should climb up to the mountain instaed of just walking on the path. And just to let you know whenever these to get together I never know what kind of a mess we are going to end up with. While I wasn't going to go with them because I thought it would ba a bit dangerous with the baby but, if the rest of them wanted to go that was fine. While my husband said about 10 minutes down the path let me carry the baby for you for a while. Then he took her and headed up the mountain knowing I would follow because I wanted her to be safe. None of us were dressed appropriastely for the this type of acursion either. We ended up getting stuck on a very steep part of the mountain. Normally this wouldn't have been a problem but with a baby and three children it was. We had to call for help on our cell phone and have have mountain rescue team come out and help us down the side of this very steep part of the mountain. And it was in the middle of October so there was snow as well. 2 of the kids had frostbite because we were not dressed appropriately. The baby was perfectly fine and warm because she was carried. I learned never to go with those to again.
