Have you already donated your own blood? I already donated my blood 2 times and to a non relatives. Tell me your story when you donate your blood.

I've donated blood at blood drives at my church and my school. I felt good doing it. It was an easy way to possibly save someone's life.

I did mine back in 2003 when a relative had to be operated. The hospital has a regulation that we need to have 3 bags of donor blood even though it's not compatible for our relative. It's like a trade-in. Trade-in your blood for compatible blood of your patient. Now, I can't give blood because I'm under medication for my vertigo and neurological illness.

My mother has been doing this regularly for years and I'm very proud of her. There are not many options where I live now but when I move back home I will certainly go with my mum.

As a matter of fact I just donated 250cc a couple of hours ago. It is not that painful but I am still feeling a little light headed. I don't know if Ill be able to go to class later. It is quite healthy to donate blood on a regular basis since it helps promote blood circulation plus it saves lives too!

I haven't had any chance of donating my blood. I am anemic and I know that it will be bad for my health to donate. But I really want to donate some of my blood, it will help a lot of people even if they are not my relatives.

I haven't really donated blood but I have been a recepient. I had lost a lot of blood in an accident before and I was tranfused with 2 packs. I'll be donating soon. When I get the chance to go to some blood drive or somthing. I heard it's really healthy since the blood lost would be replaced in our body.

That is correct! Replacing your blood with a new one coming from your body is very healthy.
