For my sons room I had the Winnie the Pooh theme for his room. For my daughter I had the Carebear theme.I think they have such cute stuff to do the nursery with these days.My daughter now has the Princess theme in her room now since she has gotten a little bit older.I am still thinking on what to do my sons room in.

my daughter doesn't have a room yet, we just have her in with us, but all of her things are winnie the pooh. When she gets older i'm going to switch to my little pony if she's liking them.

My son had Tiny Toons in his nursery. Now he has Finding Nemo things. He just now enjoys fish or anything colorful. He is three now.

We decided not to go with a specific theme when it came to decorating DS's room. There's so many cute things you can do, but after the first year, the "baby" stuff seems like it doesn't fit anymore. Rather than having to redo it, we painted it bright colors. Yellow on top half, bright blue on the bottom and a bright red border around the middle and for the trim. It came out great. We wanted to be able to add to it as DS gets interests. As it happens, DS loves Pooh and Tigger, so we found some vinyl stickers to put around the room. They fit in great and are removable. He's got some plain sheets and Snoopy & Spongebob sheets, but they all look fine. When he moves to a twin bed, the room will still be great for him. I could easily see a 10 year old with this style of room.
