Have you ever experienced a life-threatening situation?

We went on a hiking on a mountain on our town and on our way down, we decided to take a different trail. We went deeper in the forest to the nearby stream and followed it down. We had to cross a slippery rock which slants down and leads into a small pond with a very rocky bottom. Just one look at it and you know that if you fall down there, ambulance will surely be called. So one by one we cross it very carefully and when it was my turn, i unfortunately stepped on a little twig which made me slipped down towards that unhappy pond. Good thing i made my elbow as a break. (ouch) i went home with a little scratch and dirt on my pants and some worried friends. ^__^;; i was nervous when i was slipping down, imagining my bloody self and my crying friends, but after that i was laughing. hey, it was still an experience.
