Do you still have school age children that still trick-or-treat or play dress-up? DO you buy costumes or make them? I have bought only three costumes during my daughter's 11 years of trick or treating. Others were put together by she and I and was something we looked forward to each Halloween. She and I would decide what we were going to be, then would go to thrift stores in order to put together our outfit. Some of our better costumes were a scarecrow, a fallen angel, a black eyed pea(won a contest with it) and a gothic fairy. I don't own a sewing machine, but think it would have been fun to have known how to sew when she was younger so that I could have done a more outstanding job at putting our costumes together. But no complaints here.
