Do you know that some vehicles have hand gear and others have it in floor?

Some vehicles gears have to be applied by hand and in some other vehicles gears are at the floor and you can see floor gears in most of the two wheelers and we apply gear with our legs isn't it? why is that vehicles have either hand gear or in floor?

yes there is lot of model in cars hand gear like BMW, Toyaota , Ford and many more. but in some Models

Yes, theer are many cars with hand gears and in most two wheelers also hand gears are there but majority of two wheeler vehicles wil be having their gear at the floor and gear is put by using the legs and not by using the hand.... Thanks for your response

That sounds like a car developed for a person who has a handicap. with hand gears a paraplegic can drive like everyone else.

Ha...Ha...even there are cars specially developed for handicaps and as everybody know's that there are many vehicles with hand gears isn't it? and in some vehicles it is on the floor isn't it? Thanks for your response
