Have others had any horrible experiences on eBay? I must say most of my dealings have all been pleasant.I buy and sell on there and I guess the worse thing is people not paying. What annoys me also is when you buy something and the seller waits for you to leave feedback before they do.I think as a seller as soon as you have payment you should leave feedback.

I like eBay and have a good time there. I really have no negative experiences with eBay other than what I created for myself. If you have people that don't pay just report them to eBay and let them deal with them. IF you deal with people that won't put up their feedback after the purchase and payment until you do, well they would be waiting awhile. :)

That is what I do now with feedback for sellers. I think it is stupid of them to wait as you may have paid quickly but it took them ages to post or they mucked you around so if you leave neutral then of course they will. Overall my experiences have been very good and it has been a good money maker for me.

I'm always forgetting to leave feedback and tend to do it all in a big block at the end of the month. The worst thing for me is when people pretend that they havent recieved their item and ask for their money back when you know you have posted it out to them.

Yeah that is hard. The only thing you can do is contact Australia Post and see what they say as it may have been lost in transit. One I hate is when they say it's not what they expected yet it is clearly described. I had one person want theor money back because stitching was coming undone on an item and I know it wasn't when I sold it.More probably they tried it on and were a bit bigger than they thought.

So far as the seller leaving feedback first, I think you might find that eBay's own guidelines say that the buyer should leave feedback first to signal to the seller that the item has arrived and that the buyer is happy. Then the seller can acknowledge the end of the transaction with his own feedback. I have had a few problems in the past years on eBay but nothing serious and alwyas sorted out with good communication

I buy and sell on Ebay and Oztion, and have only had a couple of negative experiences. I payed for a dvd once and the guy swears I didnt make the payment!!! I checked with the bank, and it definately went through! I have payed for a couple of things and not received them. And I have a buyer who doesnt answer emails or questions, and just does things at her own pace, that is VERY annoyng!!!!!!!! But other than that, it has been fun! :)
