I got a computer technician to come into the house, he ended up installing/downloading the free program called AVS - it is better than Nortan Anti-virus. Rather than purchase the program you can download it directly from the internet and it is free. It is a few days to clean out the computer but once it clean boy it ran better. I had to tell my daugther that there is a time to heal for the computer too.

First off I'd try to stop it. It needs stopped. Then I'd find a virus scan that actually caught a good amount of problems like that. McAffe is pretty good and it has worked well for me. You also need to think that it could be adware. Adware is as bad as a virus or a worm.

Yes i have been hit by a computer virus. Although i tried to fix it i failed and finally had to format it. First with one disk but finally ended up completely fomating the computer.

Yes, I've had some problems with worms and spyware so I normally run a scan on my pc to delete those kind of things but I've have major problems, I mean virus, that took me several hours to fix... the last I caught was that one that would turn your pc off in 30 seconds so I just got to another pc to download the update of my antivirus software, turned my internet connect off and patched it.

Last time was awhile back. I use a decent anti virus program to remove them and if that doesn't work which is yet to fail i remove them myself by the little programming knowledge i know. i handly my computers with care and i'm glad i can fix 'em. Poor things! ~Joey Kudos!

i just use kaspersky anti virus it remove all things and its free

I've been hit with a virus last year and took it to the computer store where I bought it from. They reformatted and it's good as new...just a little bit slow.
