In a scatter graph question you will be given a table of values, for example Hours of sunshine 4 7 9 8 3 1 0 6 Mm of rain 1 1 0 0 8 11 15 3 Use each of the pairs of values in the table exactly the same as you would coordinates. Remember the top line in the table goes along the horizontal axis and the bottom line goes along the vertical axis. You plot each of the pairs of values, for example, (4, 1), then (7, 1) and (9, 0) next and so on. Mark each point plotted very clearly with a dot. Do not try and join the dots up. You will have a graph made up of dots which must show up well. Remember to label both axes with a scale and a title.
