What do you think of high school and family reunions. Do you prefer one over the other? Or would you rather not go to either one. If you prefer one over the other, why? When is the last time you attended a reunion? Was it what you expected? I would have to say that I prefer family reunions because family seems to be less critical of you than your past school mates.

I like both high school and family reunions. At the high school reunions you can see all your high school friends and you can see how they all changed. You can visit with them and fine out whats new. The same goes for family reunions.

Good discussion, Jshean20. I don't have a preference of one over the other. I love both of them. I handle one reunion for ALL graduates of my high school, a Spring Reunion, and really enjoy meeting people that graduated before and after I did. I've certainly met some great people who grew up where I did and remember how great our city was in the 50s and 60s. We're all adults now and aren't judgmental like so many were in high school, and we all have the same great memories of growing up in the same place. My family uses any excuse to get together, and I love that. We get together if a relative comes to town, comes back from a vacation and wants to tell us about it, for holidays and any other reason you can mention. We are a close family, and it doesn't take much for us to want to get together. If you can make it, fine...if you can't, maybe you can next time. No pressure, just come if you can.
