i think democracy than any other government, the disadvantage is only till people in a democratic country is uneducated or a meningful word not professionaly educated, when the people in country is more educated or more proffesionals the politicians have to do some developments to win their seat again, i think democrarcy has more advantage than any other type of government

I am not sure if you can call the usa a democracy any more. You have people that say smoking is bad so we have to ban it every where. Where is the democracy in that. There are others that say we can't take the life of a murderer even though he was found guilty. Where is the democracy in that. We live in a place where a few small minded people seem to have the money and pull to do what they want and be damn the people. What is good for one is not neccessarily good for all. You must look at the big picture. Democracy is when the majority rules. In most places the minority rule.

Democracy is largely referred to as a political system where the citizens vote on all major policy decisions. It is called direct because, in the classical forms, there are no intermediaries or representatives. All direct democracies to date have been relatively small communities, usually city-states. Although, some see the extensive use of referenda, as in Indonesia, just held a direct democracy in a very large polity with over 200 million potential voters last two years at 2004
Direct democracy obviously becomes difficult when the electorate is large. Modern direct democracy tries to accommodate this and sees a role for strictly controlled representatives. It is characterized by three pillars; referendums which initiated by governments or legislative , initiatives is initiated by citizens to select the president and wise president and we have successful in that election.
