We are coming to San Diego to visit at the end of Feb. Does anyone have any suggestions what to do while we are there? Also what is the weather like right now?

I don't live there, but I have visited SD and I can tell you the weather is always mild around this time, so you are going at a perfect time. It won't be too hot yet, because it's not summer time and it won't be too cold...I guess if you love cold weather, you are not going to like it! lol Must see: San Diego Zoo! It's world-renowned! Must have: mexican food! They have some great eating places that offer delicious Mexican fare. How long will you be staying? And are you the kind who enjoys museums and indoor stuff or are you an outdoors type? I can tell you that you may need to devote an entire day to appreciate all that the zoo has to offer so make sure to plan your time accordingly! There are beautiful beaches (some of which were seen on the TV show Silk Stalkings,) hiking trails, museums and of course there is Seaworld, which sounds like another must-see, though in my short stay I was unable to visit. Our group was more into clubbing and eating out! I just had to go along with what they did. Not that I minded that much! If I had my druthers though I would have made a trip to see the building they used as the Palm Beach PD aka Tournament Headquarters in Silk Stalkings! lol Anyway, good luck planning and have fun on your trip!

I was born and raised in San Diego... Try old town San Diego it awesome there... Also go to La jolla and see the seals down on the beach. You can walk up pretty close to them and watch them play in there little cove... The beach is one of the best hang outs... i dunno what the weather will be like i have heard that they have been having some rain... Due to my hubby being in the navy i no longer live out there but wish i still did. Also if you get a chance go down to Balboa park and check out the different museums they have out there... the zoo is awesome and so is Sea World. Have fun!!!

My husband and I are going to San Diego mid March and also trying to figure out what to do and where to stay. We only have one full day and I think we have decided on SeaWorld over the zoo. It was a hard decision but some of the reviews I read gave me the idea that the zoo is really crowded and it is difficult to see things. SeaWorld looked a little more theme parky than I thought I wanted but my husband talked me into it. I would love to hear how your trip is, where you stay and what you end up doing.
