I just heard on the news that a batch of Peter Pan peanut butter has been infected with Sallmonella! This is so scary for me, That happens to be the only peanut butter I don't buy but, My son is a huge fanatic of Peanut butter and Jelly sandwhiches! Do you ever think your child could be damaged by a companies carelessness? or do you just live life and hope it never does?

I dont really understand the situation. I dont think you have anything to worry about. If your son isnt sick and has been eating it, your jar most likely isnt bacteria ridden. There isn't any clear fact to link the outbreak to the peanut butter and the company tested negative for the bacteria. It's better to be safe than sorry, but I wouldn't worry needlessly about things. Its just unnessary stress.

Oh no they did trace the Bacteria to batch number 2111 and why shouldn't we all be concerned? This has already cause 300 illnesses to children and adults , children could die over this!

No, it was "suggested" that the bacteria came from that plant. The plant showed no evidence of the contamination. There has to be a common link somewhere. It had to have happened in the jarring of the peanut butter if it actually happened. The last report I said read that the peanut butter was pulled for precaution. There's something else linking these people. We will eventually see what that something is, but as of now there is no actual evidence that it was the peanut butter.
