Who is your cooking idol?

I wouldn't go as far to say 'idol', but my favourite cooking celebrity/celebrity chef right now is Nigella Lawson. I've just gotten so many wonderful recipes from her cookbooks that I had to get all of them!

Sanjeev Kapoor probably needs little introduction being the most celebrated face of Indian cuisine today. At his best, he can be Chef Extraordinaire, TV show host, author of best selling cookbooks, restaurant consultant and winner of several culinary awards! He is living his dream of making Indian cuisine the number one cuisine in the world.

I don't have a cooking idol but Jesus is my example. I've recently learned that Jesus loved to cook and he cooked for his disciples and I aspire to do the same.
