Nursery Rhymes do have an effect on the children's learning development since through them the children get exposed to the basic knowledge of the language itself. And making your child's learning fun and enjoyable can greatly affect the retention of what they have learned in their minds because they can just associate the ideas with the experiences they once had.

Nursery rhymes help children learn the language. It teaches them about how the language flows and how it rhymes. Later in life they will write better because they are so familiar with the language and how it should sound.
