In my country yes, I know some of my friends who are professionals even executives who play ON-LINE GAMING, but how addictive is it for you? How much money would you spend for it? If your aiming to quit, what is the best solution?

Yo fafs, What is your ingame name in MU Philippines? I had been playing this game since November 2004. And yes, online gaming is very addictive. I myself, a professional teacher, have struggles on quitting. I have quitted many times. But i kept on playing back. I think the best solution for this is to refocus our eyes to something that has values for us.

i play ragna for 2 yrs now. you realy have to spend a lot of money in top ups. right now the ragna sells item in real money. they realy do a lot of money. playing ragna realy helps me to unwind and relax especially during stressfull days.

yes Online gaming is too addictive... im still playin ragnarok online for the past 4 yrs but still im not able to quit it... Since i play in private server called XileRO i never spent cash eventhough there are donations to get expensive stuffs... i hav nearly quit the game now... dont ask me how, jus uninstall the game n NEVER think about it again... ofcourse its hard to do that... its all self control...

I've planned that also and I did un install, but sometime my friends try to message me and some call me to get back in the game, but just to chat and donate my items, hahahahhah, so by the time i want to give of my items, a new patch was installed on the game and it did interest me, up until now I returned and played the game again ^^..

Ya Online Games are Dam Addictive. And People Here Do Spend Lot Time in Playing in it. And Doing Top-Ups. But The Gamers Only Profit Nothing. It,s The Company That Profits.

True enough, company owes big time, and political gaming is also involved, rampant money exchange is really in stake, some GM'S of the game use other players to implement there wrong doings, anyways, I'm not so affected with this culprits, coz I just put the game inside the game not to the extent of spending $$ to buy items, still on adik mode ^^

well..there's a game..project entropia,in which u can invest money ..but if u'r lucky to hunt something that get u a good reward value...some people killed creatures in the game and got a reward of 9000$ :) .And search and read about "second life"..a game in which there's avirtual universe...there's an island in the game that's owned by Vodafone..that's something :)

Hi mackoy- can i just ask- do you play Philippine Ragnarok online? does your server happen to be IRIS? .. please comment on this ok? hmm how addictive is it for me.. ive been a player for 4 years now, and unfortunately i havent made any fortune from playing it like what others do- I would spend what i have in extra for a game- but lately i just buy top up cards using the ingame currency- at least i wont have to spend some actual cash just to play- If i was to quit- i think it will definitely be easier if I lost all interest in the game, that way quitting will be much easier...

I'm done with RO for the past 2 years from now, since they blocked the international ip, I also tried malaysia but then I cannot progress because of mis communication, then lately I started with a Philippine Classic game called MU Phil, for now I am playing MU as my online game. Your right currency ingame is the best option not to spend real money, but you must know the person personally, if not his a close in-game friend then you can top up, now a days a lot are scammers, who take advantage of people who play fair and clean. Well that's life... anyways play any OL game as long as you enjoy it, and further take control of the game, not the game controlling you. Cheers and regards

good for you, fading interest is in progress, but for me, I was starting to establish my self to lure myself away to online game, but then, my brothers joined the game again, waaaaaaa, so much for saying goodbye, I even made my final exit on my guild that time but then, funny they still se me playing and online, haaayyyzz how to quit...... better for me I can communicate with my bros in my country....
