actually the automatic time changer thing in the computers are previously set so if you don't know how to change it yourself it will not work automatically.

Yes, I believe the new date for the start of daylight savings time will now be March 11th. Major vendors such as Cisco, IBM and Sun have been alerting their customers to be preparing ahead and even have pages of instructions. The key will be with each individual businees, whether they have taken appropriate measures. Apparently some of the biggest problems that are forseen will be with billing, scheudling and the like. Here is a great article, complete with some instructions for everyday people for some everyday problems!! http://www.detnews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20070206/BIZ04/702060340

This is rediculous. I don't see a problem with day light saving time now. I have enough problem getting used to the change over and now you want to make it three weeks early. I say stop already. Get a grip. Why do we always have to mess with things. Is there a problem with time now no no let it alone. Y2K never happened every time they and who are they anyway, say there is a desaster there is no desaster. Tell they to stop the madness.

we might just have to do some manual resetting of our clocks, etc. I'm not worried about it.

I didn't know the daylight savings was coming up 3 weeks earlier and I haven't heard about messing up our computer or cell phones! I don't think we should be worried, nothing happened in year 2000 so I don't think it will affect this time.

People get all worked up over nothing! If your computer automatically updates the time for daylight savings all you have to do is manually shut off that feature or re-set the date for the new date. The world is not going to shut down, just like it didn't on January 1, 2000.
