When Hoypoloi go out of business?

I worked for Hoypoloi in Downtown Disney a few years ago, and I was surprised to find out they went out of business. They had the greatest collection of eccentric art, as well as beautiful pieces from Gary Rosenthal. I was disappointed to see their store front replaced with a clothing store. Does anyone know what happened?
