My younger cousin is 14 years old. And his height is about 6 foot 2 inch. But his waist is about 36 inches. His physique looks like a Man of about 28 years old. But 3 years ago, his physique is just like a normal boy. And now, He grown up so fast that the change in his body is too much. Please help me, is it really Obesity or not. Or we have to get him to Doctor for a check up.

Ya this is obesity. You can tell him to do some work out or do some yoga. even if he is doing household chores and errands hw will get into shape as his age is not much. So he need not worry.

OK then I will suggest him as you said about it. But I think doing Yoga in presence of any tutor is better. Thanks for the comment. Have a nice day.

It's not possible to determine whether your cousin is obese just by his measurements. He could be very muscular, or he could be quite fat. Muscle weighs more than fat. To make it more complicated, some children go through a period of being chunky as they hit puberty, despite healthy eating habits and plenty of activity. My friend's child looked overweight for about 2 years, even though he ate healthy and played soccer, basketball, american football, and ran track. He suddenly grew much taller and now looks like a solid wall of muscle, at about 13. Does your cousin have a healthy diet? Is he active? Is he able to do normal activities without getting tired? He may just be a large young man who reached physical maturity earlier than most.
